2nd Winter Market part of Hometown Holiday Market

The 2nd Winter Market will be THIS FRIDAY December 2 from 3-6pm. We are teaming up with the 1908 Courthouse for their Hometown Holiday Market event this year. The Farmers Market will hold the ever-popular Annual Chili Cookoff on December 2nd with a first prize of $100.  Please bring your entry to the Market between 2-2:30, preferably already warm, in a crockpot. The contest is free to enter, $5 allows everyone to taste all the chili and vote for the People’s Choice winner. The Winner will be announced at 6:00pm. We’ll also have free Kids activities: cookie and card decorating and IFM Kids Bucks.  Vendors will be located in the 1908 Courthouse, on the front and back lawns of the 1908 and on Courthouse Street.  In addition, the Free Market will be located at the Gate Center for their annual Christmas Shop.  Kids are welcome from 3-5 to shop for FREE for family and friends and everyone is welcome from 5-7pm.

Front lawn:  Part from Me Farm, Ben and Jordan with delicious baked goods, crafts, wreaths and roping.  Annette McAdams with delicious pound cakes, sugared nuts and crafts.  2 Goose Studio, Colleen with beautiful and functional fused glass items.  His  Hertitage farm with eggs, poultry and pork.

Inside: Mts to Sea-Vikki with painted mandala rocks and handmade cards.  Mt House Farm, Tom and Anita with crafts and processed foods.  Upstairs: Gypsy Mt Farm, Robin with Fiber crafts.  Kai Mohair, Lisa with Fiber crafts.  Mt Air Farm, Emily with lavender.  Honey Bird Hill, Kyle with woodwork.

Back Lawn: Big Dog Coffee, Bob with fresh roasted coffee.  Double F Apiary, Bob with Honey and crafts. Don’s Woodworks, crafts and baked goods. Mineola Farm, Jane with canned and baked goods and crafts.  Jennings Woodworks, Amy, woodwork. Paint Shack, Amanda with painted crafts.  Jah Works, Bobby with spices, cbd products, hot sauce. Our Farm, Alecia, with Key lime pies, hot coffee, and baked goods.  Bird & Hopper Farm, Donna with fiber, crafts, baked and canned goods.  Woods Acre Winery, Susan with fruit wines.  Eona Farm, Helen with meat.  Healing Springs Farm, Anne with meat, hides, and soap.

The second Winter Market is usually the first Saturday in December. This year vendors voted to join the Christmas Market and Tree Lighting held at the 1908 Courthouse on Friday December 2 from 3-6.
