IFM will return to Courthouse Street with 2 Winter Markets. Join us THIS Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, November 25 from 11-2 and again Friday December 2 from 3-6pm. Please note this is a change. The Winter Markets are a great time to support your favorite vendors and the local economy. We bring Kids Bucks back for these 2 Markets. The first 25 kids to visit the Managers tent-the red on the MainStreet end of Courthouse Street- get $5 of Kids Bucks to spend on anything at the Market. We’ll also have free kids activities.
The second Winter Market is usually the first Saturday in December. This year vendors voted to join the Christmas Market and Tree Lighting held at the 1908 Courthouse on Friday December 2 from 3-6. The Farmers Market will hold the Annual Chili Cookoff on December 2nd with a first prize of $100. Please bring your entry to the Market by 2:30, preferably already warm, in a crockpot The contest is free to enter, $5 allows you to taste all the chili and vote for the People’s Choice winner. The Market tent will be set up at the back of the 1908 at the base of the black metal stairs. Please bring your chili entry here. The winner will be announced at 6pm.
