This Thanksgiving finds me very thankful for all of you: the fabulous customers and vendors and community partners that made 2022, our 15th season, another wonderful year for the Farmers Market. We had 53 vendors join the Market this year, some for a day, many for the season. Food at the Market only travels an average of 18 miles. Compare that to the national average of over 1,200 miles. Our customer totals were almost back to 2019 levels at Town Park. We held a full range of events for the first time since 2019 and were thrilled to have the Ag classes join in the Cider pressing and the elementary join us for Kids Day.
Here are a few pictures from this Market season. I hope to see you this Friday for our 1st Winter Market. We’ll be on Courthouse Street from 11am-2pm. And we’ll be back Friday December 2 on the Courthouse lawn from 3-6:30 pm.
