Fiber Day postponed until August 27

Due to an uncertain weather forecast for the 20th, the Fiber Artisans will return to the Market for the last Fiber Day of the season on Friday August 27 from 9am to 1pm during the regular Market.

We are so pleased to welcome back these talented artisans to the Market..  The pandemic hit artisans particularly hard last year so I hope you’ll come out and support them. Fiber Days are a great opportunity to purchase yarns, roving, raw fiber, baskets, and an array of knit, woven, and felted goods.  Come and meet the artisans who often raise the animals providing fiber for the handmade items in their booths. Feel free to ask questions about farming with sheep, goats, alpacas, and rabbits, and see demonstrations of how raw fiber is turned into usable products. They will be joined by the New River Sheep and Goat Club. The Fiber artisans will be around the 1908 Courthouse.
