We are excited to be able to offer Christmas trees grown by the Joyce family in Grassy Creek without pesticides again this year. It’s your chance to support local farmers who are working to protect the environment and provide a quality product. It’s also a way to support the Farmers Market, it’s one of the few fundraisers we are able to do this year. Numbers of trees are limited but they also make beautiful wreaths and you can special order large ones 3 feet and up.
We are currently planning to hold our 2 Winter Markets outdoors at Town Park with limited vendors, unless we have a major increase in Covid cases. These we be Green Friday, November 27 to kick off the Shop small, shop local weekend and Saturday December 5th, both Markets will be from noon to 3pm. Stay tuned for updates. If you prefer, wreaths and trees can be picked up during the regular Online Market pickup Friday December 4th. Please specify in the comments when you want to pickup your tree. In addition we will have tree delivery available within 25 miles of Independence for $25. It will a separate item on the Online Market. Delivery is available from November 28-Dec 3, please call to schedule a time. If you live outside the 25 mile radius, you can call for pricing. 276-768-0597.
