We were brain storming about what we could do instead of our usual Kids Corner this year since the majority of kids aren’t vaccinated yet. The solution was IFM Kids Bucks. The Family Nutrition Program introduced the idea of Kids Bucks at the Market a few years ago and we saw how much fun the kids had shopping. We decided to expand the idea. Here’s how the IFM Kids Bucks work: the first 10 kids to come to the mangers tent will receive a $5 coupon that can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs and honey. We’ll be handing out Kids Bucks until the kids go back to school except on the last Fridays of June, July and August when the Family Nutrition will be joining us at the Market to distribute their Kids Bucks.
