Join us for the 7th annual Kids Day June 29 from 9am to 1pm at Town Park. Kids Day features free fun for the whole family during the entire Market. Activities include learning to throw a lasso, printing with wood blocks, milking a “cow,” contests every hour with Miss Laura and more. All activities are free and open to kids of all ages. Community partners include Cowbody Don, 4H, Virginia Department of Health, Blue Ridge Discovery Center, local artist Ellie Kirby, hula hoops with Laura, Girl Scouts, and Bessie the wooden cow. Kids Day began in 2012 and was our 1st Farmers Market Event. It remains one of the most popular activities at the Farmers Market and led to the addition of the Kids Corner activities every Friday from 10-11 with Miss Abby.
