Have you ever wondered how Rick and Jen grow such amazing produce? Farm Day is your chance to learn all about how they do things at Wagon Wheel Farm. We’ll show you how to bend hoops in case you want to experiment with growing in a tunnel. It won’t be as large as theirs, but it’s a start. You’ll see rowcovers and weedblock, 2 very useful agricultural fabrics. Curious about how a broadfork works? Give it a try. Watch a flame weeding demo and learn to take soil samples. You’ll be able to tour the field, high tunnel and greenhouse and even purchase plants to take home to your garden. Emi is bringing lambs and Abby will have fun activities for the Kids. Thank you for all your efforts in putting this event together. I know it took a lot of work from a lot of people. It was well organized and very informative. I only have a small garden but I learned so many tricks and techniques that I can use. I hope all who attended where inspired as I was.
